Official title - Specialist, Child Care Subsidy Program
Salary: $19/hour without a BA but has experience
$$20-21/hr. with a BA.

Work location: Pathways LA Child Development Center, 90012, Los Angeles
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
Primary Dutes: Implement all functions of Child Care Subsidy Programs (Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage 3, Alternative Payment, Bridge and Berendo Program) with a specific focus in enrolling families to the Pathways LA Child Development Center.
Other Duties:
Recruit participants and providers for the program.
Enroll, certify and re-certify participants.
Refer Enhanced Referrals to the Resource and Referral Department for list of providers.
Assist with parent and provider file audits.
Assist participants in resolving problems with employers, schools, children and providers.
Maintain working knowledge of CC3 and LRS.
Complete and verify all provider and participant contracts, forms, files, records and reports.
Coordinate parent education and parent involvement components.
Maintain knowledge of and compliance with Community Care Licensing regulations.
Participate responsibly in program, departmental and Agency staff meetings.
Participate responsibly in meetings, workshops, courses and conferences to enhance professional growth.
Other duties assigned.
Requirements:
BA in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or a related field (preferred).
Two years of professional child development experience.
Two years of direct experience working in an R&R or an Alternative Payment Program is preferred. Knowledge of and experience with Windows, and MS Office. Network experience preferred.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.Ability to work effectively with people from diverse economic and ethnic backgrounds.
Must have Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
