This is a phone based sales role and on any given day, you’ll be speaking to people from all across Australia in many different walks of life to help them make an informed decision on their energy needs. No two customers are exactly the same, and your job will be to build rapport with our potential customers, tailor a product or benefit to their situation and encourage them to make the switch over to Red. You will also help arrange electricity connections for people moving into a new home and make sure that every customer you speak with wants to stay with us and wants to refer their friends and family.

Important details:

  • Rotating roster, working between the hours of 8:00am - 8:00pm Monday to Friday, and Saturday between 9:00am - 5:00pm.
  • Average yearly earnings of $76,000 (Base plus super plus commissions) with strong performers earning much more.

What you will need to succeed in this role:

  • 12+ months experience working within a contact centre sales role
  • Ability to communicate with clarity and a friendly tone.
  • Capacity to maintain focus, stamina and optimism when dealing with objections.
  • Basic computer literacy and problem solving skills.
  • Healthy competitive drive and desire to achieve goals and targets.
