We are seeking an
IT Security Specialist (gn)
full-time.
The contract shall commence on 01 October 2023 and is a permanent contract.
Your tasks:
- Operational IT Security:
You are responsible for the overall management of our IT security topics and ensure the security of all locations and their infrastructure. You will be responsible for application, interface and cloud security and will use your expertise to take our client/server security to a new level.
Strategic IT Security:
As part of our long-term IT security strategy, you will implement active security monitoring and other threat management processes for the continuous detection, analysis and defense against threat scenarios. You will also implement security protocols (e.g. desaster recovery protocol) and procedures to prevent potential threats.
- You will work closely with IT infrastructure colleagues and cover operational topics when they are out of office. This includes monitoring and maintenance of internal hard- and software, e.g.:
- Operating Systems
- Network incl. Firewall, WiFi and Telephony System
- Monitoring backup and recovery jobs.
- Important task in this position is to keep all IT related documentations up to date.
- Mentoring employees and train them for the importance of IT security.
- Keeping up to date with advancements and best practices in IT administration.
Your profile:
- At least 5 years of professional experience in the field of IT security, server administration and network support (2nd and 3rd level)
- Good knowledge of security concepts, security analysis tools and the defense against cyber attacks in the office, production, cloud and mobile environment - ideally certified
- Confident handling of regulations and standards in the area of IT security (e.g. ISO 27001, BSI IT Grundschutz)
- experience with Microsoft Azure and other cloud products is a plus
