Your role

Would you like to help us enhance our client tax experience, now and for the future? Are you client orientated with high risk awareness?

We're looking for a Tax Reporting Specialist to:

  • Supporting and reviewing the 1042-S reporting to be send to the IRS
  • Processing, screening and analysing data due to tax relevant processes for FATCA/CRS purposes
  • Testing and production of customer related disclosure statements for FATCA/CRS purposes
  • Supporting on pre-production controls on FATCA/CRS topics up with client advisors/client relationship manager
  • Supporting the implementation of new IT-systems and programs

Your team

You'll be working in the Operational & Client Tax team in Luxembourg. We are in close contact with the business to inform about the correct application of relevant withholding tax regulations such as the US Qualified Intermediary regime and FATCA, the OECD-AEI regime and the Luxembourg Savings Tax. Furthermore, the department is responsible for tax reclaims and relief at source in many countries and produces country specific income reports used for the income tax declarations of private clients. Your expertise

  • Postgraduate degree in economics / tax / finance or first work experience in the tax sector with focus on withholding tax regimes such as QI, FATCA, OECD-AEI
  • Proactive, great communicator with very good analytical skills to reduce tax complexity to a client (internal/external) friendly language
  • Organized and structured with the ability to set priorities to meet deadlines of regulatory tax reporting to be filed.
  • Great technical skills (Excel, XML.)
  • Fluent in English, basic German skills would be consider an advantage
