Role Status: Full time and Part time available

Job Summary:
The primary role of a Housekeeper is to maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the facility and its surroundings. He/she will do basic and periodic cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, dusting, mopping, washing, vacuuming and scrubbing all the areas covered in the building. A Housekeeper is also responsible to make sure washrooms are cleaned and sanitized.

  • Is patient, helpful and is interested in the welfare of the guests and staff.
  • Has great attention for detail and works well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Follows staff conduct policies and time management guidelines.
  • Is organized and able to prioritize workload.
  • Able to multi-task for the benefit of quality services.
  • Able to work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Takes pride in the job well done.
  • Initiates and constructively develops positive team dynamics with management, peers and guests.
  • Initiates communication or dialogue with supervisor or manager when processes, tasks, and instructions are not clear.
Required Qualifications and Abilities
  • Minimum of 1-year housekeeping experience required
  • Completion of grade 12 at the start of employment required
  • Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
  • Able to safely lift 40 pounds
  • Must be personable, friendly and outgoing with excellent customer service skills
  • High energy and a strong work ethic

  • Working Indoors and Outbuildings
  • Deal with cleaning chemicals
  • Able to safely lift up to 40lbs
  • Work on your feet most of the time
Compensation and Benefits
$17.75 to $20.76 / hour depending on experience
