Job Description


Job purpose:

As part of Risk Management Department in IPU headquarter, the Market & Liquidity Risk team is responsible for assessing and monitoring the financial risks such as:

  • Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book (IRRBB) and Credit Spread Risk in the Banking Book (CSRBB);
  • Liquidity Risk (2rd Line of Defense) ;
  • Market Risk in Trading Book;
  • Counterparty credit risk;

The team leads also the transversal projects and ensures group supervision towards its European entities:

  • Transversal projects such as IC(L)AAP, Pillar III report and Recovery Plan;
  • Stress testing program;
  • Climate & Environment risk (to be extended to ESG risk) assessment for the purpose of stress testing and Pillar II capital requirement;
  • Upcoming CRD VI and CRR III implementation and coordination;
  • IPU entities coordination and inspection;

The successful candidate will report to the Head of the department and the Director of the Liquidity & Market Risk team.


Your responsibilities within the team will be:

  • Design and implement the overall risk framework of IPU, following the principle of the provisions in CSSF circular 20/759;
  • Perform materiality assessment of the risks and regularly review the adequacy of the risk indicators thresholds & Limits;
  • Contribute to the transversal projects such as IC(L)AAP, Pillar III report and Recovery Plan;
  • Participate to program the Bank’s stress testing program and follow up the CSSF’s CR&E (and ESG) risk requirements;
  • Prepare comprehensive Market & Liquidity Risk report to Risk Management & Internal Control Committee;
  • Follow up findings/recommendations of 3rd Line of defense and external regulator;
  • Coordination and supervision of IPU group’s European entities.


Qualifications


Profile (Technical Skills):

  • Master degree in Economics, Banking, Finance or related field, a professional certificate such as FRM or (and) SCR is a plus;
  • Solid experience in Risk Management and good knowledge on regulatory requirements (CRR&CRD package);
  • Strong understanding of financial instruments and market;
  • 5-year working experience or above

Profile (Soft Skills):

  • Good analytic and synthetic capacity;
  • Proactive attitude and team player;
  • Fluent in English, and Chinese skill is a plus;
