The Crane department focuses on inspections of, among others, aerial work platforms, cranes, telehandlers, and earthmoving equipment. Are you technically skilled or interested in technology? Are you currently working as a mechanic, but also interested in manufacturing or regulation? Then the position of Inspector Lifting and Hoisting Equipment is for you!
As an Inspector Lifting and Hoisting Equipment, you are responsible for inspecting materials at customers according to the prescribed inspection methodology. You ensure control of inspection certificates and keep it neatly in your documentation. You carry out these inspections throughout the Netherlands and for various clients. For example, one day you may be inspecting forklifts and the next day a large container crane in the port of Rotterdam.
We will provide you with some additional conditions in this position so that you can perform your work without any worries. Specific and correct certifications or diplomas are provided by SGS. Of course, a company/lease car is provided as well.
As an Inspector Lifting and Hoisting Equipment, your responsibilities include:
- Performing inspections at customers throughout the Netherlands;
- Working out inspection results in a report;
- Checking inspection certificates for accuracy;
- Maintaining contacts with the operations manager about findings;
- Helping to develop the department;
- Presenting yourself in a representative manner and being alert to new potential customers.
You are our ideal candidate if you have the following:
- Relevant work experience with machinery, vehicles, and/or lifting and hoisting equipment;
- Good oral and written command of the English language;
- Possession of a driver's license B;
- Knowledge of standards, laws, and regulations related to lifting and hoisting
