Job Title: Nurse (Confinement Centre / Childcare Centre)
Responsibilities:
- Provide round-the-clock nursing care and support for new mothers and newborns during the postpartum period.
- Conduct health assessments and monitor the well-being of mothers and infants, including vital signs, breastfeeding support, wound care, and medication administration.
- Offer professional guidance and education to new mothers on postpartum recovery, infant care, and breastfeeding techniques.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standard of care for all residents.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and provide appropriate interventions when necessary.
- Uphold infection control measures and maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
- Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and excellent communication skills when interacting with mothers, families, and colleagues.
- Stay updated on the latest evidence-based practices and advancements in postpartum care.
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and continuing education to enhance professional growth.
- Adhere to legal and ethical standards, following all relevant policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Minimum SPM
- SRN will be added advantage
- Working Experience in hospital or medical centre or confinement centre is an advantage
- Able to communicate in both English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken)
- Job Type: Full-time
- Salary: RM1,500.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
- Schedule: Rotational shift
