We are looking for an Accounting Analyst to strengthen our Financial Reporting team. This permanent position is based at our Head office in Arendal. In this role you will be responsible for the financial reporting for legal entities and branches within the Gard group and will use the appropriate tools to ensure a high level of accuracy and timely reporting.
The role involves interaction with colleagues across functions and countries, in addition to external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities:
Completion of closing cycles for the legal entities and branches within the group, including preparation and review of financial reports and statements.- Contribute to building technical improvements/digitalizing of processes.
- Contribute to implementing changes to current or new accounting standards.
- Communicate and build relationships within the company and with the external auditor.
- Contribute to ongoing projects and process improvements.

You have good command of IT tools and have experience of or an interest in digital tools.
You are collaborative, analytical and business oriented.
You have a degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration and/or computer science, statistics, mathematics or other quantitative fields.
You need to be comfortable with using both English and Norwegian as your working languages.
