- Database design and administration of either PostgreSQL, DB2, MariaDB or SQL Server databases
- Install, configure and upgrade database server software
- Provide consulting to clients related to database administration, working on company's / client's premises
- Performance monitoring, reporting and tuning of databases
- Performing upgrades of the database and software to new release levels
- Security, troubleshooting, as well as backup and data recovery.
- Bachelor Degree in IT or related field
- Experience in Transact-SQL or DB2, MySQL, Informix, MongoDB will be appreciated
- Knowledge of high availability solutions for SQL Server (always On, etc.) will be a plus
- Familiarity with cloud-based technologies (Azure Database, SQL Server Stretch Database, Oracle Cloud Platform etc. )
- Knowledge of ETL processes and analytics is also desirable
- Excellent command of the Greek and English language
- Willingness to work in new fields and develop new skills (e.g new databases)
- Flexible working in shifts
