Nice to meet you! We’re Sudha, Michele and Mikko from the LeadDesk’s AI team and we’re now looking for a new Front-end Developer to join us!

As a Front-end Developer, you will play a crucial role in the prototyping and production phases of the project, working closely with the Engineering and Sales teams to implement innovative AI solutions.

What success looks like in this role:

  • You collaborate with the AI team to prototype and test new ideas using various technologies, such as basic HTML, C++, and React.
  • Gather client feedback during the prototyping phase and make necessary adjustments to improve the user interface and overall user experience.
  • Engage with clients to understand their requirements and provide insights and suggestions for implementing AI features into our products.
  • Collaborate with the development team to transition successful prototypes into production-ready code using React, Redux-Saga, Typescript, and JavaScript.
  • Follow agile development processes, including Scrum, sprints, and task management using tools like JIRA.
  • Work independently and take ownership of projects from day one, leveraging your experience in product development to deliver high-quality results.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, sharing insights and collaborating on solving problems.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to front-end development and AI.

This is where the match happens

Must-haves

  • Proven experience in front-end development, with a strong focus on product development.
  • Experience working with React, Redux-Saga, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
  • Proficient in solving problems and finding innovative solutions to challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with clients during the prototyping phase.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English (this is our internal language).
  • Self-driven and able to work independently without the need for extensive training.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with MySQL and jQuery.

Practicalities

  • Your location: Finland, ideally Helsinki metropolitan area.
  • Work permit: A valid Finnish work permit is required. (Unfortunately, we don’t yet provide help with the Migri processes).
  • Start date: The sooner the better. We’re also being realistic, so August/September would be ideal.
  • Working hours: Full-time
  • Employment period: Permanent
