About function:
The Hallmarks Detection Office is currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Hallmarks Detection Office Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate identification and authentication of hallmarks on various precious metal items, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining consumer confidence.
Responsibilities:
Examine and analyze hallmarks on jewelry, silverware, and other precious metal items. Verify the authenticity and compliance of hallmarks with legal standards and regulations. Utilize specialized tools and equipment to conduct thorough hallmark inspections. Collaborate with regulatory authorities and law enforcement agencies in investigations related to counterfeiting or fraudulent use of hallmarks. Stay updated on hallmarking regulations, techniques, and industry standards. Maintain accurate records and documentation of hallmark assessments.
Responsibilities:
- Check and analyze hallmarks on jewelry, silverware, and other precious metal items.
- Verify the authenticity and compliance of hallmarks with applicable standards and regulations.
- Utilize specialized tools and equipment to conduct detailed hallmark inspections. Requirements:
- Resilience to external factors (work takes place in a room with special lighting, using special glasses, including microscope and laser equipment).
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Reside within a 40 km radius of Schiphol. Qualifications:
- Experience working with a microscope.
- Resilience to external factors such as ultraviolet light.
- Proficiency in English (knowledge of Dutch would be an additional advantage).
