Lecturer
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Lecturer to lead our lecture series. You will be responsible for planning and teaching a lecture series, with a focus on marketing and branding. The Lecturer will also help organize events and promote the series to our community.
Responsibilities
- Create and organize lectures, workshops, and other events to engage our community
- Develop and implement a curriculum for lectures that will be engaging and informative
- Plan and schedule lectures to meet the needs of the participants
- Attend all lecture sessions at South and City College Birmingham and participate in discussions on social media
- Communicate with students via email, phone, or other means to reach out to students
- Monitor student attendance at South and City College Birmingham and provide feedback to management if necessary
- Analyze data about student attendance to identify potential issues with lecture content or scheduling logistics
Qualifications
- Experience in marketing or event planning is preferred but not required. This role requires someone who is interested in learning more about marketing but is also interested in teaching. We are open to hiring anyone who has experience teaching classes. We are willing to train the right candidate with experience.
- Previous experience leading a group of students is preferred but not required. This role requires someone who is interested in learning more about leading a class, but who is also interested in teaching. We are willing to train the right candidate with experience.
- A bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university is preferred but not required. This role requires someone who is interested in learning more about leading a class, but who is also interested in teaching. We are willing to train the right candidate with experience.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 25 per week
Salary: £24,386.00-£30,862.00 per year
