As a boutique import-export company in metals / steel area, we are interested in a dynamic Sales Support Intern. The position is a part-time remote entry-level internship, therefore, current students, recent graduates and candidates with few years of experience are welcome to apply.
General Requirements
- 1-2 years of part-time/full-time work experience, ability to work autonomously
- Preferably an interest in International Sales and Marketing, Trade,
- Intermediary English skills will be helpful for communicating with overseas contacts
- Some digital, tech skills will come in handy for preparing digital marketing material on programs like Canva, as well as arranging online virtual calls and preparing company databases on spreadsheets
- Background in Industrial subjects or engineering students will be welcome
- Self-discipline, good organizational and communication skills in addition to strong follow-up ethic and go-getter personality
- Ability to organize information, keep client data on MS Office programs in an up-to-date fashion and prepare basic marketing materials as well
- Basic knowledge of Incoterms, Logistics concepts, Import-Export terminology will be greatly useful
General Scope of Tasks
- Support company's communication with potential accounts/clients, send company introductions, gather procurement inquiries, coordinate the information with the overseas team, respond to RFI/RFP/RFQs and send offers accordingly
- Attention to detail and prompt flow of information between clients and HQ team
- Follow-up activities, help with most steps of sales cycle
- Securing sales and ongoing service contracts from new and existing customers with a result mindset
The position is fully remote and will be reporting virtually to the HQ & Overseas team.
