Repair Specialist (year-round and seasonal positions available)

As a Repair Specialist, you will perform vehicle glass repairs whenever a glass replacement is not required. Our formal training program will teach you everything you need to know, regardless of any prior mechanical experience.

What You'll Do:

  • Learn to repair vehicle glass under the guidance of experienced technicians and Safelite leaders
  • Repair chips, cracks, and other auto glass related issues on customer vehicles
  • Manage work orders, customer documentation, and communication using Safelite's Mobile Resource Management technology
  • Clean customer vehicles during wait times and perform housekeeping tasks in company vehicles and shop
  • Safely operate a company fleet vehicle
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What You'll Need:

  • High School Diploma/GED/Equivalent
  • Valid state-issued driver’s license
  • On-the-job training and completion of Safelite SafeTech™ certification
  • Ability to operate a Safelite van, follow safety policies, traffic laws, and maintain a safe driving record
  • Flexibility with hours and workload
  • Comfort working outside in various weather conditions
  • Present a professional appearance and wear personal protective equipment
  • Physical requirements: lifting and carrying up to 75 lbs. for short periods, working at elevated heights, and remaining on your feet for extended periods
