Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality for our products and services. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, project managers, and product owners, to develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications, systems, and processes.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and issues, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Conduct thorough regression testing to validate software changes and enhancements.
- Collaborate with product owners and project managers to define quality standards and requirements.
- Perform root cause analysis of defects and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Monitor and analyze quality assurance metrics, providing regular reports on the status of testing and product quality.
- Participate in the design and implementation of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
- Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in quality assurance.
- Provide guidance and support to junior members of the quality assurance team.
- Foster a culture of quality by promoting continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the organization.
Requisitos y calificaciones
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Specialist or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Proficiency in test case design, execution, and defect tracking.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and the software development life cycle.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks is a plus.
- Certifications in quality assurance (e.g., ISTQB) are highly desirable.
