Purpose:
The Specialist, Data Management performs data quality assessments on UT inspection data and optimizes the data quality of inspection runs with specialized software, as well as, support other areas within the Data Analysis teams.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Generates all data quality related deliverable for the Customer, listings, DQA report, profiles, etc.
  • Performs database and inspection data maintenance/support on all active data sets globally
  • Trains and develops assigned Specialist Data Management
  • Performs revisions of Data Quality Assessments on ultrasonic wall thickness and crack inspection data for approvals on inspection runs.
  • Provides Corrective Action Preventative Action (CAPA) support with detailed assessments and feedback on any data quality issues.
  • Ensures archiving of robot's raw and all additional generated data sets in cooperation with IT Department (e.g. data translation, post processing) following the valid data archiving policy
  • Generates all customer software related deliverables, inspection data and databases.
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Educational Requirements
  • Must possess a High School Diploma
  • An associate degree from a technical college is preferred
  • Knowledge of non-destructive ultrasonic testing and/or material technology is preferred
  • Knowledge of ultrasonic wall thickness and crack inspection data is preferred
  • Must be proficient in spoken and written English
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a non-destructive testing environment
