About the role
Drive the main strategy and secure operational excellence by leading a commercial team and marketing team in order to manage the overall performance of the launch product portfolio.
Lead Marketing teams to develop strategic brands plans aligned with Global and Local plans
Supported by Therapy Area Head, translates Global Therapy Area strategy, content and solution into localized tactical measures
Adopt new and innovative approaches to facilitate patient journey and ensure a differentiated approach vs competition
Ability to lead and coach team to clearly identify strategic issues and priorities
Accountable for achieving team’s agreed commercial objectives through implementation effectiveness and operational excellence. Monitor brand performance and ensures appropriate and timely response to market opportunities.
Navigate in the complex Health care ecosystem to understand the patient journey and decision-making processes.
Creates and executes business plans to drive achievement and is responsible for brand’s strategy and tactical planning in line with company strategy and standards.
Establish and manage trusted relations with relevant Health Care Professionals and key stakeholders within the disease area. Act as Novartis voice towards Health Care Professionals and stakeholders from time of commercial launch.
Manage a team of Marketers, Commercial Team Leader and Medical Representatives and is responsible for driving the commercial operations plan and for achieving agreed commercial and broader performance targets for the specific product area through coaching and training.
Be the omnichannel orchestrator, optimizing, coordinating and implementing the use of all channels, including Field Force create and implement the digital marketing strategy to enhance digital innovation
Demonstrates an enterprise mindset and customer focus
People Development -develops talent and capability, builds effective and accountable teams, promotes engagement
Effectively manage teams with teams and X-functional teams

Role Requirements
Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Life Sciences, Pharmacy or Business related discipline
Strong both scientific & business background
Fluent in English & Greek written and spoken
Demonstrated Marketing and Sales leadership and 10+ years of experience
People management experience, leading directly teams of Medical representatives through change
Experience working with regional & local commercial, medical and access teams
Strong communication and collaboration skills and proven ability to work across teams.
Proven ability to drive business growth and experience on accountability for P&L
Ability to manage multiple competing priorities to deliver on time and in budget
Demonstrates a customer-focused mindset
Experience in the Neuroscience field strongly desired
Strong both scientific & business background
Fluent in English & Greek written and spoken
