Office Manager/Administrative Assistant [Canada]

Looking for a dynamic, tech savvy & organized individual to fill the role of office manager / assistant to provide a wide range of administrative and office support activities to facilitate the efficient operation of the organization.

The ideal candidate will be in charge of the organization and efficiency of daily office operations from following up after client meetings, to communicating between departments, you will be responsible for completing a multitude of tasks in a professional and timely manner.

This role requires the willingness to obtain your mutual fund license and life insurance license.

The position requires the individual to work on location in Owen Sound.

Responsibilities

  • Complete back office business management duties
  • Complete daily customer service calls and regular client communication.
  • Resolve processing delays with client accounts in a timely manner
  • Provide clients with a hospitable office experience

Qualifications

  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous office management / administrative experience preferred
  • Proficiency with Apple computers, Microsoft office suite or Apple equivalent programs
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work quickly
  • High school diploma, additional qualification as an administrative assistant or secretary will be a plus.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Salary: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

  • Owen Sound, ON N4K 2C6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

  • Secondary School (preferred)
