About the position
- You will get the overall responsibility and authority to deliver value to our customers, including people and process management, safety and quality compliance, continuous improvement and supporting of planning activities.
- You will lead a team to achieve the expected results in terms of efficient technical support and maintenance of our utilities on the shop floor.
- Daily management of the utility maintenance team. This will also include coordinating of activities with cross functional teams.
- As we are a biopharmaceutical company, our processes take place in a GMP regulated environment and therefore we expect you to have GMP knowledge from either the medical industry or similar.
- You will be part of a leadership team in Technical Operation and Maintenance, consisting of leaders from other cross functional areas. Furthermore, you will also be part of the site engineering extended leadership team.
Responsibilities includes but are not limited to:
Operations
- Ensure timely and efficient technical support and maintenance of the Utility equipment.
- Follow up on Utility equipment issues together with relevant parties in the organization.
- Responsible for timely and sufficient communication to relevant parties in case of a breakdown or other critical issues on Utility plants.
- Come up with improvement ideas together with the team, work with relevant parties to implement optimizations as part of the daily work.
- Work closely with the different stakeholders to support various project in the utility area. This could vary from smaller optimizations to larger investments projects.
- Act as a natural partner for the team in the daily work at and around the shop floor.

- A bachelor’s degree within Mechanical/Electrical or Marine engineering combined with a relevant leadership education or other relevant background
- Min. 3 years of experience within people management
- Excellent coaching and people skills
- A candidate with technical experience within the Utility business area is preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in Danish and English

- You possess strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate honestly and open at all levels and towards stakeholders

About the Department and the team
Utility Maintenance Department is part of the Technical Operations and Maintenance Organization. We are responsible for continuous operation and maintenance of the black and clean utility systems, and we provide technical support to our expansion projects.
The Utility Maintenance team
The team consists of 11 highly skilled and experienced employees, divided in a black/HVAC group and a clean group, composed of roles such as utility mechanics, Subject Matter Experts (SME) and HVAC specialists.
We work in a busy, dynamic, and inspiring environment and we will, over the coming years, support the existing Utilities and the preparation and installation of new Utilities with our expansion projects.
As a team we strive to increase equipment performance to world class level. We use production data as a key cornerstone in everything we do, and we are proud of our technical continuous improvement program track record of success.
