Job Description
- Handle incoming and outgoing calls within the customer service department, specifically addressing customer concerns. This includes calls from customers themselves
- Effectively manage individual workload pertaining to customer complaints, ensuring timely completion of tasks and adhering to both internal and regulatory time lines.
- Accurately document new complaints on the appropriate systems, including relevant contact details and necessary actions to be taken.
- Make informed decisions regarding the validity of complaints and determine appropriate actions to be taken, considering both the customer's perspective and the company's commercial interests when necessary.
- Ensure that any proposed settlements or compensations are supported with appropriate documentary evidence.
- Maintain clear, concise, and accurate communication through written correspondence and telephone interactions.
- Treat customers with respect, demonstrating empathy and understanding, and consistently adhere to the principles of fair treatment.
- Contribute to the preparation and creation of management reports related to complaint handling.
- Demonstrate the ability to identify and appropriately assist vulnerable customers.
- Foster effective ongoing communication within the team, department, and across the organisation.
- Regularly review root cause analysis to identify and address any obstacles that may hinder the customer journey.
- Exemplify the company's vision and values in all aspects of work.
