Job Description


Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity


The role of Customer Service Representative within the Staff Service Centre at The University of Auckland is a pivotal position that will give you unrivalled exposure to the breadth of the University’s operations and successes.

  • Deliver excellent quality service, assistance and precise topical information to the University’s staff and other stakeholders
  • Provide accurate information every time, and then ensuring all service requests are documented to a high standard
  • Work within and contribute to our enthusiastic and energetic team spirit

This is Permanent, full-time (37.5 per week) position.

The salary will be between $50,000 and $52,000 per annum and will be dependent on experience.

It would also be advantageous to have:

  • Experience within a Call Centre
  • O365 Exchange and Active Directory experience
  • An understanding of ServiceNow or Service Cloud functionalities
  • Advantageous, experience within a call centre

Qualifications

Although experience within a similar environment would be beneficial, it is more important that you bring a great attitude, with the ability to roll up your sleeves and deliver an exceptional experience to our customers. You will be calm under pressure and able to work in a fast-paced, volume-driven environment.

  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills with great listening and interpretation skills.
  • Ability to learn new systems, software and procedures quickly.
  • Be a team player.
  • Have the ability to identify areas for continuous improvement and efficiency.

This position is rostered. Our standard business hours are between 7.30 am to 6.00 pm Monday to Friday. We work 7.5 hours a day and start times will vary to accommodate operational demands.
