Position Overview

The International Billing and Global Cash Manager is responsible for managing the billing operations for the Special Handling, International Billing and Cash teams. The individual is responsible for implementing and enforcing policies and procedures, as well as improving cash application and billing processes across multiple markets. This position requires a strong leader with the ability to prioritize, plan, and provide clear direction.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Special Handling customer setup and implementation along with ensuring accurate and timely recurring monthly billing for such customers.
  • Responsible for full billing cycle and maintenance for all international entities.
  • Assist domestic billing teams when needed
  • Responsible for Accurate and Timely application of cash
  • Identify and implement process improvements for Billing special handling processes
  • Identify key department efficiency metrics for greater visibility of achievements and shortfalls in the month and establish a cadence for monthly reporting.
  • Coordinates monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities and prepares ad hoc financial reports.
  • Plan and implement quality assurance for all processes
  • Develop and publish critical department desk top procedure/SOP documents
  • Participate in Staffing discussions along with planning/interviews.
  • Implement new hire training procedures along with ongoing employee development and employee mentoring cadences.
  • Address escalations from internal and external sources including Account Managers/Customer Service/Senior Management.
  • Assist with accounting system migrations and new acquisitions

Qualifications

  • Proven track record for improving process efficiencies and solving problems
  • Strong leadership skills with an ability to motivate direct reports
  • Detail oriented with an accounting background
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, and internal personal skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • College degree in accounting/finance/business management required
