You will liaise with the vessels and ports to ensure smooth voyage and time charter operation in accordance with company procedures.
As a part of your role, you will:
- Conduct day to day vessels’ operations and required follow ups (messages monitoring, scheduling actions, liaise with port agents etc.)
- Handle time charter and post fixture operations
- Handle any claims and party disputes, negotiate Port disbursement accounts, and issue invoices and hire statements
- Incident accidents response and handle all vessel insurance coverage
- Participate and coordinate vessels’ deliveries purchases and sales
Requirements
- Degree in Maritime or relevant discipline
- Dry Bulk experience of 5-7 years in the Operations department of a Shipping company
- Computer literacy, (experience with Danaos Software will be considered as an additional asset)
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
- Efficiency in troubleshooting, organizing skills, attention to detail
- Previous experience with container vessels (will be considered an asset)
